Research Review Journal of Indian Knowledge Systems adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics |C|O|P|E|. All stakeholders, including authors, reviewers, and editors, are expected to conform to these ethical guidelines to ensure the integrity of the research and its publication.

For Authors:

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and properly cite or quote the work and/or words of others. All submissions will be checked for plagiarism using Turnitin.
  • Data Integrity: Authors should present accurate data and results. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is unethical and unacceptable.
  • Multiple Submissions: Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously is prohibited. Authors must confirm that their manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources: Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must be given. Authors should cite publications that have influenced their research.

 For Reviewers:

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat all manuscripts received for review as confidential documents. They must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone except the editors.
  • Objectivity: Reviews should be conducted objectively. Reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments and avoid personal criticism of the authors.
  • Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation.
  • Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.

 For Editors:

  • Publication Decisions: Editors are responsible for deciding which of the submitted manuscripts should be published. The decision should be based on the manuscript’s importance, originality, clarity, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  • Fair Play: An editor should evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
  • Confidentiality: The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author. Editors should recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
  • Addressing Misconduct: Editors should take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred. In cases of suspected or alleged misconduct, they should follow COPE guidelines to resolve the issue, which may include retraction or correction of articles.

By adhering to these ethical guidelines, Research Review Journal of Indian Knowledge Systems commits to upholding the integrity and quality of the academic record. For further details or to report unethical behavior, please contact the editorial office at [editor@rrjiks.co.in].
