Abstract

The objective of this research paper is to observe at Lord Shri Krishna’s management skills and strategies in the epic Mahabharata. The research paper analyses key incidents from the epic to shed light on Lord Shri Krishna’s outstanding leadership & motivational skills during the Mahabharata incidents. The paper starts by explaining Lord Shri Krishna’s remarkable leadership, in which he expressed a lucid vision for re-energise Dharma and Ethical practices in society. It stresses on his role as an expert advisor, counsellor and strategist who leads the epic’s various characters at different situations by using his deep perception, knowledge and understanding. Finally, this research paper provides a thorough examination of Lord Shru Krishna’s leadership in the Mahabharata, highlighting his Strategic Vision, Impactful Communication, Empathy and Compassion, Decision-Making Command, Flexibility, Mentorship, Team Synergy, Emotional Intelligence, Holistic Leadership, Time Management. This paper discusses in detail, the qualities of a great leader as reflected and unveiled by lord Krishna, in the epic Mahabharata. These traits of lord Shri Krishna can be a source of encouragement for any corporate leader. Lord Shri Krishna through his charismatic leadership guided & motivated Pandavas towards the victory at Kurukshetra war. The lessons Lord Shri Krishna gave to Pandavas are correspondingly pertinent in today’s highly competitive corporate world too. The findings help to excavate our understanding of Lord Shri Krishna’s leadership & Motivational skills and its relevance in modern circumstances.

    Dr. Rajni Yashwantrao Kshirsagar completed M.B.A., M.Com, SET (Commerce and Management) Ph.D. in Commerce from P.A.H. Solapur University, Solapur. She is an Assistant Professor with over 17 years of teaching experience at both UG and PG levels in the fields of Commerce and Management at Hirachand Nemchand College of Commerce, Solapur. She possesses specialized expertise in Marketing Management, Marketing Research, Retail Management, General Management, with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student development. Demonstrates a strong commitment to academic excellence through innovative teaching methodologies, industry-oriented pedagogy, and experiential learning practices aimed at enhancing student engagement and outcomes.
